Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Technical Sales Executive to drive business development and manage field sales across industrial customers. The role involves identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, providing technical demonstrations, and closing sales for our automation and spray painting product lines. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, consultative sales skills, and a passion for achieving targets in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and acquire new customers in assigned territory.
  • Conduct technical presentations, demonstrations, and product trials at customer sites.
  • Understand client requirements and recommend suitable products or automation solutions.
  • Prepare and present quotations, negotiate terms, and close orders.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to drive repeat and upsell business.
  • Collaborate with engineering and service teams for solution customization and after-sales support.
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and report pipeline updates to management.
  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry networking events to generate leads.
  • Track competitor activity and provide market feedback for product and strategy improvement.
  • Ensure timely coordination with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams for order fulfillment.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelors or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
  • 3–5 years of experience in industrial/technical sales (preferably automation, coating, or capital goods industry).
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively for client visits and fieldwork.
