Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications using PHP and related technologies.
  • Lead the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, project managers, and QA engineers.
  • Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices for code quality.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, conducting code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services into applications.
  • Ensure projects adhere to timelines, coding standards, and security compliance.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in PHP and web development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in PHP development.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP (Core PHP, Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony frameworks).
  • Experience with MySQL / PostgreSQL and database optimization.
  • Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
  • Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git, GitHub/Bitbucket).
  • Experience with server management (Linux/Apache/Nginx) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and lead development teams effectively.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
