Job Description / Key Responsibilities

  • Determine annual sales plans by forecasting and developing customer-wise sales quotas; project expected sales volume for existing and new products; analyze trends, results, and competitive landscape.
  • Formulate and design trade/sales policies to govern the AR–CV business with a strong focus on achieving sales plans, budgets, and improving sales output.
  • Identify and analyze white spaces in the Commercial Vehicle market for appointment of distributors and channel partners.
  • Drive budget achievement for the CV segment, ensuring growth in both top-line and bottom-line.
  • Develop and execute Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies to expand product range and introduce new products in collaboration with Product Marketing teams.
  • Work closely with the sales team to increase market share across top 10 states as per VIO and market potential.
  • Increase reach and penetration in secondary and tertiary markets.
  • Lead implementation of mechanic loyalty programs including enrolment and execution as per Statement of Work (SoW).
  • Prepare and execute activity calendars (monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual) including retailer meets, mechanic meets, auto shows, and trade fairs to enhance brand visibility and demand.
  • Implement marketing initiatives to generate demand across secondary and tertiary channels.
  • Nurture new distributors, ensure smooth onboarding, and analyze Share of Business (SoB) with marketing support.
  • Lead training programs for ASMs, MSRs, DSRs on product knowledge and soft skills to enhance productivity and market effectiveness.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Strong focus on identifying top hubs and appointing the right distributors in the right markets.
  • Experience in distributor onboarding as per defined SOPs.
  • Hands-on experience in loyalty program implementation and monitoring.
  • Ability to track mechanic enrolment and redemption (registered vs active mechanics).
  • Experience in conducting structured training programs for MSRs, DSRs, mechanics, and workshops as per training calendar.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
