Roles and Responsibility

  • Prepare high-quality dishes according to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Develop new menu ideas and recipes to enhance the dining experience.
  • Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, minimizing waste and optimizing costs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to food quality and safety.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a chef de partie in a hotel or restaurant setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine, including sushi and teppanyaki.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to maintain attention to detail and adhere to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools, such as cookers, refrigerators, and dish washing machines.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time.
