We are looking for a skilled Chef De Partie with 4 to 8 years of experience in the hospitality industry, specifically in hotels and restaurants. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cooking techniques and ingredients used in sushi and teppanyaki cuisine.
Roles and Responsibility
- Prepare high-quality dishes according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Develop new menu ideas and recipes to enhance the dining experience.
- Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, minimizing waste and optimizing costs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to food quality and safety.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a chef de partie in a hotel or restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine, including sushi and teppanyaki.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to maintain attention to detail and adhere to high standards of quality and presentation.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools, such as cookers, refrigerators, and dish washing machines.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time.
