Role & responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Prior work experience in the territory and knowledge of institutions/customers in the region
- Regular analysis of market potential to chart path for growth of business in the region.
- Managing the team successfully and achieving individual and team goals
- Monitoring competitor activities
- Expand relationships with existing customers to grow the companys share of the business.
- Regular reporting, pipeline building, achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets etc.
- Manage the supply chain and ensure round-the-year availability of our products with the distributors and retailers.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in a managerial position in sales with team and revenue responsibility.
- Proven track record of sales growth and experience as an Area/Regional Manager in the same or adjacent industry
- Experience of selling products in academic institutions
- Strong English communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude for building long term relationships.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Graduation in any discipline
- Working knowledge of the local languages
- Willing to travel extensively.
