
Area Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Drive range selling across all markets and outlets in the assigned area.
- Appoint and manage distributors, ensuring effective market penetration.
- Expand product reach across Class A, B, and C outlets within the defined geography.
- Support dealers with payment collection if required, and ensure timely payment to the organization without delays.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve business objectives.
- Oversee merchandising and sampling initiatives to build visibility and consumer trials.
- Maintain accurate and updated MIS data (outlet base, sales reports, etc.).
- Provide daily reporting of sales activities and performance to senior management.
- Ensure adherence to the organizations code of conduct and compliance with statutory requirements.
Candidate Profile
- Background in Tea/Spices industry is mandatory.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in General Trade sales.
- Proven experience in team handling and distributor management.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and market expansion skills.
- Proficient in MIS reporting and data-driven decision-making.
