Role Overview
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for generating sales, expanding the frozen food customer base, and ensuring smooth order execution. This role requires regular market visits, distributor coordination, and relationship management with retailers, wholesalers, and institutional clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve assigned sales targets for frozen food products.
- Visit markets regularly to develop new customers and maintain relationships with existing ones.
- Identify and approach potential distributors, retailers, HORECA, and modern trade outlets.
- Ensure product availability, stock rotation, and visibility at retail points.
- Support execution of promotions, sampling, and trade schemes.
- Collect market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and customer preferences.
- Share daily/weekly sales updates with reporting manager.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of FMCG / Frozen Food sales preferred.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build rapport with customers and distributors.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and willing to travel extensively.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets for reporting.
Qualification & Experience
- Graduate in any discipline (MBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing preferred but not mandatory).
- 2–4 years of experience in FMCG/food sales (frozen food experience is an advantage).

- Achievement of monthly sales target.
- New outlets/distributors added.
- Market coverage and territory growth.
- Timely reporting and customer feedback.
