Assistant Manager – Accounts

Client:
Leading Digital Cable TV & Broadband Service Provider.

Location:
Kolkata & Onsite

Experience required:
5–7 years

CTC-6LPA to 8LPA

Education:
CA Inter or B.Com

Key Responsibilities

Accounts & Reporting

·       Manage day-to-day accounting entries and maintain accurate financial records.

·       Prepare and analyze monthly MIS reports for management.

·       Maintain fixed assets register, including capitalization and depreciation schedules.

·       Calculate and monitor bank interest, including overdraft (OD) interest.

Compliance

·       Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST and TDS returns.

·       Support statutory and internal audits with required documentation.

·       Maintain compliance records in line with regulatory standards.

ERP & Systems

·       Work on ERP systems for accounting, reconciliations, and reporting.

·       Generate and validate financial data through ERP tools.

Banking & Treasury

·       Handle day-to-day banking operations, reconciliations, and payments.

·       Liaise with banks for fund transfers, OD accounts, and documentation.

Must-Have Skills & Competencies

·       Strong knowledge of
accounting principles, GST, and TDS
.

·       Proficiency in
ERP systems
and MS Excel.

·       Experience in
fixed assets management & depreciation accounting
.

·       Practical exposure to
banking operations and OD interest calculation
.

·       Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

·       High attention to detail with commitment to accuracy.
