Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Collections Manager (In-House) to support our internal finance and collections operations. This role will involve assisting in managing receivables, supervising the in-house collections team, monitoring overdue accounts, and ensuring smooth coordination with internal departments. The Assistant Collections Manager will play a key role in maintaining cash flow and reducing outstanding dues.

Key Responsibilities


• Assist the Collections Manager in handling day-to-day in-house collections operations.


• Supervise and support the collections team to achieve recovery targets.


• Track and monitor accounts receivables, overdue payments, and aging reports.


• Coordinate with internal teams (Finance, Sales, Customer Support) to resolve billing/payment discrepancies.


• Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and company guidelines.


• Prepare regular reports and MIS on collection performance and outstanding amounts.


• Escalate high-risk accounts and suggest appropriate action steps.


• Contribute to process improvements for faster and more efficient collections.


• Train and support new team members to follow standard in-house collections practices.


• Act as the point of contact in the Manager's absence to ensure operational continuity.

Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.


• 2–4 years of in-house experience in collections, receivables, or credit control.


• Strong understanding of internal collections processes and reporting.


• Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace; ERP/CRM knowledge is a plus.


• Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.


• Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a small in-house team.
