About the Role:
We're looking for a proactive Sales & Application Engineer to join our dynamic team. If you have a knack for understanding client needs, preparing technical proposals, and driving successful sales closures, we'd love to meet you
In this hybrid role, you will bridge the gap between clients and our technical team—owning the entire pre-sales and post-sales process, from lead follow-ups to solution proposals and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Management & Follow-ups: Engage and follow up on inbound and outbound leads to convert them into qualified opportunities.
- Solution Design & Quotation: Understand client requirements, consult with technical teams, and design comprehensive system solutions—including Engineering, Bought-outs, Installation, and Commissioning.
- Client Communication: Handle RFQs, assess technical and commercial requirements, and provide solutions aligned with customer needs.
- Sales Development: Proactively connect with new and existing clients to foster long-term business relationships.
- Tech-Sales Coordination: Work closely with the Development, Production, Logistics, and Accounts teams to ensure timely project execution.
- Documentation & Accuracy: Prepare accurate and well-reviewed quotations, proposals, and pricing strategies to drive profitability.
- Client Support & Query Handling: Coordinate with technical support teams to resolve client queries effectively.
- Marketing Support: Participate in digital marketing and content sharing initiatives to support lead generation through online platforms.
- Client Visits: Plan and attend client meetings and site visits to strengthen relationships and gather requirements.
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on competitor activities and industry trends to refine pricing and sales strategy.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-driven with a passion for sales and client satisfaction
- Analytical mindset and excellent negotiation abilities
- A collaborative attitude and multitasking capabilities
- Educational Background: Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics & Telecommunication (E&TC), Instrumentation, or related fields preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and general productivity tools
- Experience in industrial automation, system integration, or related sectors is an added advantage
