Business Development Representative (BDR) - Communication Focus
We are seeking an ambitious and highly articulate Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing sales team. This role is perfect for a communication specialist with a knack for identifying opportunities and initiating high-value conversations. If you are exceptional at crafting compelling emails, making impactful cold calls, and clearly articulating value, we want to hear from you.
To qualify for the base salary, you must generate and convert a minimum of 15 new leads per month, totaling at least ₹4 Lakhs in project value. Beyond that, you will earn an additional 1% commission on the total profit generated per quarter, if exceed convert more than 15 new leads per month.
What You'll Do
- Communicate and Connect: Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective clients, initiating communication via phone, email, and social channels (especially LinkedIn).
- Articulate Value: Clearly and concisely present our unique value proposition and product benefits to decision-makers and C-level executives.
- Qualify Leads: Conduct in-depth research and discovery calls to understand prospect needs, pain points, and budget, ensuring they are a strong fit for our solutions.
- Collaborate: Work closely with the Account Executive team to schedule qualified meetings and ensure a smooth handover of promising leads.
- Track and Report: Accurately log all communication and activities in the CRM (e.g., Salesforce), providing consistent forecasts and pipeline updates.
- Strategize: Contribute actively to the development and refinement of our outbound messaging, scripts, and email sequences to maximize response rates.
What We're Looking For
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Exceptional Business Communication Skills: Must demonstrate superior written and verbal communication abilities. You should be able to write compelling, error-free professional emails and speak confidently and persuasively.
- 1+ years of experience in a sales, business development, or client-facing role (e.g., BDR, SDR, Inside Sales).
- Proven ability to conduct successful cold outreach (calling, emailing) and overcome initial objections.
- Strong organizational skills and experience managing a high volume of contacts within a CRM system.
- High energy, a strong competitive drive, and a resilient, positive attitude.
Communication Specifics
