The Role
We're hiring a Business Development Manager to win new business in the U.S. market, with a primary focus on small independent hotels and motels. You'll own outbound, run discovery, deliver demos, and close deals, partnering with Product for deeper technical questions.
What You'll Do
- Target and prospect small independent hotels and motels across the U.S.
- Generate and qualify leads via cold calls, email/LinkedIn sequences, inbound follow-ups, and virtual demos.
- Present Lodgezify's property management & booking solutions to decision-makers; tailor proposals and pricing.
- Negotiate terms and move opportunities to close with clear next steps.
- Maintain accurate CRM data, pipeline hygiene, and concise call notes.
- Report weekly on activity, pipeline value, and revenue closed.
Non-Negotiables (Must-Haves)
- Proven success sourcing and closing self-generated pipeline (SaaS or hospitality tech).
- Excellent spoken and written English; confident on camera for demos.
- Tech-savvy; comfortable discussing integrations and payment/checkout flows at a high level.
- Willingness to work U.S. time zones with reliable connectivity and a quiet workspace.
Success Looks Like
- First 30 days:
- Consistent outbound (target ~60–80 quality touches/day).
- Close a minimum of 2 small independent hotel/motel customers (new logos).
- By 90–180 days:
- 8–12 qualified meetings/week; 6–8 active opps by end of month two.
- Steady ramp to monthly new ARR targets and repeatable close rate.
Note: Offer includes a standard ramp period and performance review; meeting the "2 small hotels closed in 30 days" target is a key success criterion.
Compensation & Benefits
India (₹INR)
- Base (CTC): ₹8–18 LPA (DOE; city/experience adjusted)
- OTE: ₹12–28 LPA (base + uncapped commission)
- Note: Compensation is annual CTC; incentives paid monthly/quarterly against KPIs.
