Position Title: Sales Representative (Grade 4) Government Sector

Department: Sales

Location: Gurugram

Job Summary:

The Grade 4 Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales within the government sector by

identifying opportunities, managing relationships with government clients, and delivering solutions

that meet the sector's needs. This role involves understanding government procurement processes,

working within compliance regulations, and executing sales strategies to meet revenue targets. The

Sales Rep will also liaise with internal teams to ensure products and services align with government

requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage government accounts and foster relationships with key decision-makers in central, state, and

local government agencies.

  • Identify new sales opportunities and follow through to successful closure.
  • Work with internal teams (legal, finance, product) to navigate government procurement processes and

compliance regulations

  • .Deliver product presentations, proposals, and negotiate contract terms with government clients.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through regular communication and post-sale support.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in selling to the government or public sector.
  • Strong understanding of government procurement and compliance processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
