JOB ROLE: Area Sales Manager

LOCATIONS: Pune

EXPERIENCE: 3 years to 5 years of experience as Sales / Business Development in FMCG (Cosmetics and Skincare)

ROLE DESCRIPTION, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND REQUIREMENTS:

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for the primary and secondary target achievement of the assigned zone. Handle General Trade & Modern Trade for Beauty categories. Capable of identifying and developing key clients for business excellence and target achievement.

ASM RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Primary and secondary target achievement of the area

2) Monthly Sales planning and forecasting, taking into account the shelf life

3) Managing, training, and providing overall guidance to the sales team of an assigned zone.

4) Monitoring the performance of the sales team and motivating members to meet or exceed sales targets.

5) Collecting customer feedback and providing updates to senior management.

6) Traveling to potential and existing customers within an assigned sales area to present company offerings and build brand awareness.

7) Maintain relations with stores and maintain stock level. Increase billing efficiency, reduce stock return, damage return, and timely collection of receivables

8) Utilizing outbound telephone calls, email communications, and face-to-face meetings with customers to close sales.

9) Developing and sustaining long-term relationships with customers.

10) Strong experience years) within a large Indian or multinational organization preferably within the FMCG industry with a major focus on Rural Channels, General Trade & Modern Trade

ASM REQUIREMENTS:

1) Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business management, or a related field is preferred.

2) Proven sales experience; sector-specific sales experience is preferred.

3) Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.

4) Excellent management, leadership, and organizational skills.

5) Outstanding negotiation and consultative sales skills.

6) Effective communication & presentation skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35, ₹45,000.00 per month
