Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Area Sales Manager located in Pune. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and driving sales activities in the designated territory, developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets. The role involves conducting market research, preparing sales reports, coordinating with the marketing team, and providing technical support to customers. The Area Sales Manager will also participate in trade shows and seminars to promote Genetix Biotech Asia Ltd.'s products and services.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to conduct market research and identify new business opportunities for Downstream, analytical and upstream products
  • Experience in preparing sales reports and analyzing sales data
  • Technical knowledge in life sciences, biotechnology, or related fields
  • Experience in the Chromatography products, TFF Systems or Fermenter in Biopharma sectors is a plus
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Business, or related field
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
