Role Overview:

  • Were seeking a hands-on Outbound Sales Manager to build and lead our outbound sales function.
  • This role combines leadership with execution: youll design the outbound strategy, coach SDRs/BDRs, and personally prospect into key accounts to set the tone for the team.
  • Your focus will be driving high-quality meetings (SQLs) with engineering leaders (VP Eng, QA Heads, CTOs) in mid-market and enterprise SaaS/FinTech/E-commerce/Healthcare companies.

Responsibilities:

  • Own outbound sales playbook: messaging, ICP targeting, cadences, and objection handling.
  • Prospect into strategic accounts (personally generating 814 SQLs/month).
  • Manage SDR/BDR team (hire, train, coach, performance manager).
  • Collaborate with marketing on campaigns to ensure strong MQL SQL conversion.
  • Track and analyze outbound metrics (activity, conversion, pipeline).
  • Join discovery calls to model excellence and close early-stage opportunities.
  • Report on pipeline health and ensure 34x coverage vs. target.

Requirements:

  • 5-8+ years in outbound SaaS sales (IC + team lead/manager).
  • Proven success booking meetings with VP+ personas in technical SaaS/enterprise buyers.
  • Experience building and scaling SDR/BDR functions.
  • Knowledge of tools like Salesforce/HubSpot, Outreach/Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Strong understanding of B2B SaaS enterprise buying cycles.
  • Comfortable in a player-coach role (50% managing, 50% doing).

KPIs:

  • Team hitting 60-70% of activity targets.
  • Personally 8-14 SQLs/month.
  • Team booking 30-40 SQLs/month.
  • 20-25% MQL SQL conversion.
  • SDR ramp time 4 weeks.
