Business Development Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, research & close potential clients in relevant industries.
- Develop a robust sales pipeline through outbound outreach, networking, and referrals.
- Craft and deliver persuasive pitches tailored to each prospective client's needs.
- Collaborate with the creative, strategy, and account management teams to develop proposals and solutions.
- Handle end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation and pitching to contract closure.
- Represent the agency at industry events, meetings, and networking platforms.
- Maintain regular follow-ups and build long-term relationships with leads and clients.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
- Track all sales activities, maintain CRM systems, and provide weekly reports.
- Strategically focus on scaling monthly revenue and achieving aggressive growth targets.
- Take ownership of revenue goals with an expectation to double current revenue in the upcoming quarters.
- Close a minimum of 50L in revenue per month.
Required Qualifications
- 4–5 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition preferably in a digital marketing or advertising agency.
- Must have a demonstrated history of generating a minimum of ₹50 Lakhs - 1Cr/month in revenue in a previous role.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, influencer marketing, content strategy, and digital trends.
- Previously worked in social media agencies whose services span meme marketing, social media management, scripting, and production of TV/YouTube ads or branded sketches.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence in pitching and negotiating deals.
- High level of initiative, ownership, and target orientation.
- Strong networking and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with proposal building and pricing strategy.
- Understanding of creative and production workflows in social media campaigns.
- An existing network of potential clients or industry connections is a plus.
