Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced
Linux System Administrator
to manage, maintain, and support our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Linux-based systems, servers, and networking, ensuring optimal system performance, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu, CentOS, or Red Hat).
  • Monitor system performance, uptime, and resource utilization.
  • Manage user accounts, file systems, and system permissions.
  • Perform regular system updates, patches, and security hardening.
  • Troubleshoot server and network-related issues.
  • Configure and maintain services like Apache, Nginx, MySQL, DNS, DHCP, SSH, FTP, etc.
  • Perform backup, restore, and disaster recovery operations.
  • Maintain documentation for infrastructure, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with development and support teams for smooth deployment and maintenance.
  • Implement and monitor server and network security measures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3–4 years of hands-on experience as a
    Linux System Administrator
    .
  • Strong knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, or Red Hat).
  • Experience with shell scripting (Bash, Python, or similar).
  • Familiarity with virtualization or cloud platforms (AWS, VMware, etc.).
  • Good understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing).
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, or similar).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification:
    RHCSA / RHCE / Linux+
    (advantage).
  • Experience with CI/CD, Docker, or Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Familiarity with firewall management and security tools.
