Job Summary:
The Administration Manager will oversee and manage all administrative functions of the shipyard to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The role involves handling facility management, statutory compliance, vendor coordination, manpower support, and general office administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all administrative operations within the shipyard, including office management, housekeeping, and security.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely procurement of office supplies and operational materials.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with HR and Operations teams for staff welfare, attendance, and logistical support.
- Manage employee transport, accommodation, and canteen facilities efficiently.
- Prepare and manage administrative budgets, track expenses, and optimize costs.
- Supervise maintenance of infrastructure, utilities, and facilities.
- Handle government liaison work, licenses, and renewals related to shipyard operations.
- Maintain documentation, reports, and records related to administration and compliance.
- Support management in audits, inspections, and administrative planning.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Graduate or Postgraduate in Administration, Management, or related field.
- 5–14 years of experience in administration, preferably in shipyard, manufacturing, or heavy engineering industry.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and administrative reporting.
- Ability to handle multi-department coordination and manage large teams.
- Immediate joiners will be given preference.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25, ₹40,000.00 per month
