Location - The position will be currently based In Baner. But will be shifting to Talegaon as their plant is based there (hybrid)

He/She should have a good food industry connect, reliable and willing to explore other segments. Should have exposure working on entire machines and not just equipments.

PURPOSE

Summarize briefly the major function and purpose of the position.

  • Getting more business and meeting business targets in GIN market (India/Sri Lanka/Bangladesh/Nepal) portfolio, dealing with multinational firms as well as with local players : new equipments sales
  • Leverage market information, identify, implement business strategies, and make plans in line with corporate strategies to grow the targeted market segment
  • Plan and implement key account strategies to strengthen business relationships with major current and high potential customers
  • Should be adept at building strong relationship with other departments such as Project Management, Applications and Regional Customer Care /Service
  • Updating weekly, reporting monthly sales and pipeline
  • Explain the degree of supervision / guidance, procedures / processes used, judgment, creativity, planning and resourcefulness needed to do the job.
  • Needs to be a team player, working closely with other Sales and Aftermarket supports as a team. Pro-active, skilled in searching for new customers and new businesses, customers orientated, with the ability to understand customers business. Independent, reliable, self starter, honest, diligent, excellent communicator

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Food Science, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical

    Engineering or related fields (preferred but not essential)
  • Total market/sales experience of 10+ years with minimum 7+years of relevant work experience with direct sales in B2B capital equipment and/or processing industry preferably in the food and beverage sector.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage process engineering, and experience in equipment integration, servicing and solutions is an added advantage.
  • Highly motivated individual, diligent and proactive business attitudes with leadership and entrepreneur flair.
  • Self-starter, independent worker, but definitely a team player with excellent

    interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Candidate need to be able to demonstrate strong trust and sincerity with customers
  • Need to have good presentation and listening skills both in local language and

    English.
  • Able handle high workloads, multiple projects, action plans, etc.
  • Able to articulate and deliver product presentations.
  • Ambitious and energetic, strong willingness to have win-win situations.
