Role & responsibilities

To drive B2B sales growth and market expansion for herbal extracts and nutraceutical ingredients in the South India domestic market by developing new customers, managing key accounts, and promoting Botanic Healthcares product portfolio across targeted industries.

Job Title: Business Development Manager South Region (Domestic B2B)

Department: Sales & Marketing

Location: South India-Based out of Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales & Market Development

  2. Identify and develop new business opportunities across pharma, nutraceutical, food & beverage, and personal care industries in the South region.

  3. Achieve assigned sales revenue and growth targets for the region.
  4. Generate and convert qualified leads into long-term customers.

  5. Key Account Management

  6. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and distributors.

  7. Understand client needs, propose suitable product solutions, and ensure timely service.
  8. Coordinate with internal teams (R&D, Quality, Logistics) for samples, documentation, and order fulfillment.

  9. Market Intelligence

  10. Track competitor activities, market trends, and emerging customer requirements.

  11. Provide regular feedback to the management and suggest strategies for product positioning.

  12. Technical & Product Promotion

  13. Conduct technical presentations, product demos, and participation in trade exhibitions.

  14. Collaborate with the marketing team for region-specific campaigns and events.

  15. Reporting & Coordination

  16. Maintain accurate customer data, sales pipeline, and visit reports in CRM.

  17. Prepare monthly sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: B.Sc / M.Sc in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, B.Pharmacy, or MBA in Marketing.
  • Experience: Min 10 years of experience in B2B sales/business development of herbal extracts, nutraceutical ingredients, or related sectors (phytochemicals, natural ingredients, etc.).
  • Preferred Background: Experience in handling customers in pharma, nutraceutical, ayurvedic,
