Skyline Advertisers, an INS-accredited advertising agency, is looking for a results-oriented Business Development Manager to expand our presence in the newspaper advertising segment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, pitching advertising solutions, and closing deals for print media placements. This role demands a strategic sales professional with a deep understanding of print media trends and client needs.

What You'll Do:

  • Identify potential clients, including businesses and agencies, for newspaper ad placements (display ads, tenders, legal notices, UFR's, IPO's, premium page releases etc.)
  • Present rate cards, advertising packages, and release schedules, offering guidance on the best ad solutions for clients
  • Coordinate with media partners to ensure timely and accurate ad placement
  • Advise clients on ad formats, positioning, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Build and nurture a robust sales pipeline through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach
  • Create and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to prospective clients
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, track leads, and generate regular business performance reports
  • Represent Skyline Advertisers at industry events and networking opportunities
  • Consistently meet or exceed revenue targets and contribute to business growth initiatives
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to drive business

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in media (print, radio, magazines or similar); agency or experience working with any print publication preferred
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and client management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
