Shree Renuka Sugars Limited is one of India's largest sugar manufacturers with a crushing capacity of 40,000 tons per day and the country's largest sugar refiner with a capacity of 4,000 tons per day. The company accounts for 20% of India's sugar exports and is a leader in ethanol production with a 20% market share. With facilities across Karnataka, Maharashtra, and West Bengal, its current power and ethanol production capacities stand at 143 MW and 930 KLPD, respectively. Renuka Sugars is also actively involved in trading sugar commodities on NCDEX, including the spot market and futures.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Area Sales Manager based in Kolkata. The Area Sales Manager will oversee sales operations, build and maintain client relationships, implement sales strategies, and ensure sales targets are met. Responsibilities include developing sales plans, analyzing market trends, coordinating with internal teams, and providing reports on sales metrics. The role will require direct interaction with customers and stakeholders to enhance business growth within the designated region.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Sales, Business Development, and Client Relationship Management
  • Proficiency in Market Analysis, Strategy Development, and Sales Forecasting
  • Exceptional abilities in Communication, Negotiation, and Leadership
  • Experience in Team Coordination and Territory Management
  • Knowledge in the sugar and ethanol industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic markets and foster long-term partnerships
