Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven
Business Development Manager – Cybersecurity
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cybersecurity sales and a strong ability to build relationships with SMB and mid-enterprise customers. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage the complete sales cycle, drive revenue growth, and collaborate closely with technical and marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and engage SMB and mid-enterprise clients for cybersecurity products and services.
  • Drive the full sales cycle — from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and deal closure.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with IT decision-makers, including CISOs, CXOs, and senior leadership.
  • Understand customer pain points and security requirements to align them with company offerings.
  • Manage a healthy sales pipeline, provide accurate forecasts, and meet monthly/quarterly sales targets.
  • Work closely with the technical team to develop proposals, solution presentations, and demonstration materials.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies and account plans tailored to assigned territories.
  • Maintain consistent follow-ups with prospects to maximize conversion rates.
  • Stay updated on cybersecurity trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
  • Participate in industry events, webinars, and networking opportunities to strengthen brand presence.
  • Ensure smooth coordination and handover to the delivery team post sales closure.
  • Maintain complete and accurate CRM data for leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns, lead generation activities, and content requirements.
  • Provide regular sales reports, performance insights, and pipeline updates to management.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and nurture long-term business relationships.

Desired Profile:

  • Proven track record in selling cybersecurity solutions or IT infrastructure services.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Based in Mumbai or Pune, with willingness to travel across assigned territories.
