Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Pre-Sales Engineer – Security with strong technical expertise in network & cyber security solutions. The candidate will work closely with sales and technical teams to design and present security solutions, handle product positioning, create BOQ estimations, and engage with customers to ensure successful solution adoption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide pre-sales technical support and expertise in customer meetings, presentations, and demonstrations.
  • Design security solutions based on customer requirements across Cisco, Check Point, Palo Alto, and other technologies.
  • Deep understanding of Firewall, SSE (Security Service Edge), SASE (Secure Access Service Edge), and Cybersecurity concepts.
  • Prepare and validate Bill of Quantity (BOQ), solution proposals, and technical documentation.
  • Work with sales teams to position product portfolio effectively to meet client business objectives.
  • Participate in customer workshops, RFP/RFI responses, and solution designing.
  • Ensure competitive positioning of solutions and assist in proof of concept (POC) implementations when needed.
  • Stay updated with emerging security technologies and industry trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT/Computer Science/Electronics or equivalent.
  • 3–5 years of proven experience in Pre-Sales Engineering / Security Solution Designing.

  • Strong knowledge of:

  • Cisco Security Solutions

  • Check Point & Palo Alto Firewalls
  • SSE / SASE frameworks

  • Cybersecurity concepts & frameworks

  • Experience in preparing technical solution documents, proposals, and BOQ estimations.

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Preferred Certifications

  • Cisco Security (CCNP Security / CCIE preferred)
  • Palo Alto Networks (PCNSE)
  • Check Point CCSA/CCSE
  • Any relevant Cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.)
