A Tele-Sales Executive in the ed-tech sector is responsible for connecting with students, parents, working professionals, or institutional clients to promote educational products such as courses, workshops, training programs, webinars, and career-development services. The role involves understanding customer needs, explaining program benefits, and driving enrollment through effective communication and relationship-building.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to leads generated through marketing, inquiries, or referrals.
- Explain course details, curriculum, pricing, career outcomes, and enrollment process.
- Assess the learner's goals and match them with the right program.
- Follow up with warm leads and nurture them until conversion.
- Maintain CRM records with call logs, lead status, and follow-up schedule.
- Achieve weekly/monthly enrollment and revenue targets.
- Coordinate with counsellors, academic teams, or TPOs for demo sessions or webinars.
- Handle objections related to pricing, timing, or relevance of course.
- Provide after-enrollment assistance when required.

- Strong communication and persuasive skills.
- Ability to understand student needs and guide them effectively.
- Confidence in handling high-volumes of calls.
- Basic knowledge of CRM or lead-management tools.
