House of EdTech (Goenka Kachave LLP), founded by IIT Kharagpur alumni, empowers learners with practical, career-focused programs across AI Tools, Stock Market, Personal Finance, Data Science, MS Office, and more. With 600+ employees, 10+ offices across India, and ₹250 Cr+ ARR, we're expanding our Kolkata team and hiring 30 Business Development Associates (Sales).

Role Overview

  • Title: Business Development Associate (Sales)
  • Location: Kolkata (Work from Office)
  • Schedule: 11:30 AM – 9:00 PM | 6-day workweek | Thursday off
  • Compensation: Up to ₹12 LPA (Up to ₹6 LPA Fixed + Up to ₹6 LPA Variable)
  • Incentives: Attractive performance-based incentives
  • Tools: Personal laptop required (rental option acceptable)

What You'll Do

  • Tele calling and lead engagement: Reach out to prospective learners and follow up on assigned leads.
  • Consult and guide: Understand learner goals and recommend the best-fit programs.
  • Own the sales process: Manage end-to-end—from first contact to closing the enrollment.
  • Product expertise: Build deep knowledge of course offerings to provide confident advice.
  • Target achievement: Consistently meet monthly sales targets and earn incentives.

What We're Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required (MBA is a plus).
  • Communication: Fluent in English; confident, persuasive communicator.
  • Sales mindset: High energy, target-driven, strong objection handling and closure skills.
  • Experience: Freshers and candidates with 1+ years in sales welcome (EdTech/tele-sales is a bonus).
  • Resilience: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
  • Requirement: Personal laptop (or willingness to rent).
