We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Manager to lead our team, optimize store performance, and uphold our commitment to operational excellence.

Job Summary

The General Manager will oversee all aspects of the supermarket's operations, ensuring profitability, growth, and customer satisfaction. This position requires a strong leader who can manage teams effectively, streamline processes, and maintain high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the supermarket, including sales, inventory, customer service, and staff management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, improve customer experience, and control costs.
  • Lead, train, and motivate department heads and store employees to achieve performance goals.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely restocking.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and health standards.
  • Analyze financial reports, set budgets, and track KPIs to ensure store profitability.
  • Plan and execute promotional activities and seasonal campaigns.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in retail management or supermarket operations.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and sales forecasting.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and retail management systems (POS, inventory software, etc.).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a customer-first mindset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹45, ₹50,000.00 per month
