Job Title: HR & Front Office Executive

Location: Kingston High School, Bangalore

Reports to: Principal / Administrative Officer

Job Summary:

The HR & Front Office Executive at Kingston High School plays a pivotal role in managing human resources functions and serving as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, staff, and students. This hybrid role ensures efficient recruitment, employee engagement, compliance, and administrative support while maintaining a warm, professional, and organized front office environment that reflects the school's values.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. HR & People Management:

  2. Manage end-to-end recruitment for teaching, administrative, and support roles: job postings, screening, interviews, background checks, and onboarding.

  3. Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries, grievances, and engagement initiatives.
  4. Maintain staff attendance records, leave management, payroll coordination, and benefit administration.
  5. Ensure compliance with labor laws, child safety regulations, and school-specific HR policies.
  6. Assist in staff performance management, training coordination, and record-keeping of certifications and qualifications.
  7. Maintain and update HR databases, generate reports (staffing, attrition, attendance trends), and propose HR process improvements.

  8. Front Office & Administrative Support:

  9. Greet and assist parents, visitors, and students with professionalism and courtesy.

  10. Handle incoming/outgoing calls, emails, and messages promptly.
  11. Manage visitor logs, issue passes, and enforce security protocols.
  12. Schedule appointments, coordinate meetings, and manage communications for school leadership.
  13. Maintain student records, internal registers, and assist in preparing circulars, newsletters, and notices.
  14. Support logistics for school events, parent-teacher meetings, and manage office supplies inventory.
  15. Act as a communication hub during emergencies and assist in implementing safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, Arts, or related fields.
  • 1–3 years of experience in HR, front office, or administrative roles; experience in educational institutions is a plus.
  • Strong command of English and Kannada; Hindi is advantageous.
  • Proficient in MS Office, email communication, and HRMS tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of Indian labour laws and compliance frameworks.
