Area Sales Manager

Role & responsibilities :
1. Sales & Business Development
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned region.
• Drive primary and secondary sales through effective dealer and distributor management.
- Develop and implement regional sales plans aligned with company objectives.
- Identify and onboard new dealers/distributors to expand the brands market reach.
2. Market Penetration & Channel Management
- Monitor channel performance and ensure product availability across all retail and distribution points
- Negotiate trade terms, margins, and schemes to ensure profitable growth.
- Track competitor activities and provide insights to management for strategic planning.
3. Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key trade partners and distributors.
- Conduct regular market visits to assess customer satisfaction and gather feedback.
- Resolve dealer/distributor issues promptly and professionally.
4. Inventory & Collections
- Coordinate with supply chain and warehouse teams for timely stock replenishment.
- Ensure effective inventory management and control of returns or unsold goods.
- Monitor outstanding payments and ensure timely collections.
5. Reporting & Analysis
• Prepare and submit periodic sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence.
• Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
