Strategic Sales Manager – Badminton Products

Job Purpose:

To drive sales growth and market expansion of badminton products by developing strategic sales plans, building strong distribution networks, and creating long-term partnerships. The role requires balancing immediate sales targets with future market-building initiatives to strengthen the brand's presence in India and international markets.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with business goals.
  • Identify new markets, customer segments, and distribution channels.
  • Conduct competitor and market analysis to spot growth opportunities.

2. Business Development & Partnerships

  • Build and maintain relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, academies, and sports clubs.
  • Explore tie-ups with e-commerce platforms, sports academies, and corporate buyers.
  • Negotiate and finalize strategic sales contracts or bulk deals.

3. Sales Execution & Target Achievement

  • Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets.
  • Monitor sales performance by region and channel, recommending corrective actions.
  • Support sales team/distributors with pricing strategies, schemes, and promotions.

4. Channel Development

  • Expand dealer/distributor network in high-potential territories.
  • Onboard and train partners on product knowledge and selling points.
  • Strengthen brand presence in retail outlets and sports hubs.

5. Collaboration with Marketing

  • Work closely with marketing for promotional campaigns and product launches.
  • Provide feedback on customer needs, trends, and competitor activity.
  • Ensure brand positioning aligns with sales objectives.

6. Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare periodic sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance reviews.
  • Track profitability and ROI of different sales channels.

Present insights and strategies to senior management.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25, ₹30,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 40 per week
