Job Description
Role Overview:
The Sales Head will be responsible for leading the entire sales function, driving revenue growth, managing multiple sales teams, and building strong relationships with institutions, partners, and corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team across branches or regions.
- Drive student acquisition through B2C and B2B channels (colleges, schools, corporates, coaching partners).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions and channel partners.
- Identify new markets, business opportunities, and growth initiatives within the EdTech ecosystem.
- Oversee lead generation, lead quality, pipeline management, and conversion strategies.
- Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to align campaigns with sales goals.
- Review daily/weekly performance metrics and share reports with management.
- Conduct training for sales teams on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer handling.
- Ensure CRM usage, process compliance, and customer satisfaction standards are followed.
- Monitor competition, market trends, and student needs to adjust sales strategies.
- Represent the company at events, seminars, career fairs, and institutional meetings.
- Ensure smooth coordination between sales, academics, operations, and placement teams.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Sales, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership/managerial role (preferably EdTech, Education, or Training industry).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proven track record of achieving revenue targets.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Good understanding of CRM tools, sales funnels, and student acquisition.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Willingness to travel for institutional visits and business meetings.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred).
- Experience managing multi-location teams.
- Understanding of EdTech products, LMS, test prep, or training services.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹30, ₹50,000.00 per month
