*Role Overview*

We are seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure & Security Administrator to take ownership of our *network infrastructure, on-premises servers, endpoint systems, and cloud instances, with a strong emphasis on **system security, compliance, and business continuity*. This role ensures that our IT backbone remains reliable, secure, and future-ready.


## *Key Responsibilities*

*Infrastructure & Systems Management*

* Administer, monitor, and maintain enterprise servers (Windows/Linux) and virtualization platforms.

* Manage office network (LAN/WAN, VPN, switches, routers, firewalls, Wi-Fi).

* Oversee system performance, uptime, patching, and capacity planning.

* Implement and maintain *backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions*.

*Security & Compliance*

* Lead IT security initiatives including *firewall management, intrusion detection, endpoint protection, and encryption policies*.

* Conduct periodic *vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and risk analysis*.

* Develop and enforce IT security policies, access control, and compliance standards (ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA if applicable).

* Monitor for security breaches, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions.

*Cloud & Hybrid IT*

* Manage *cloud instances (AWS/Azure/GCP)* ensuring security, cost efficiency, and compliance.

* Configure IAM, MFA, and security groups for safe cloud operations.

* Maintain hybrid setups (on-prem + cloud) with seamless integration and monitoring.

*Support & Documentation*

* Provide L2/L3 support for network, systems, and security issues.

* Manage Active Directory, user provisioning, and IT asset lifecycle.

* Maintain accurate documentation of network diagrams, security policies, and SOPs.


*Required Skills & Qualifications*

* Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

* 1-2 years' hands-on experience in *IT infrastructure, systems administration, and security management*.

* Proficiency in:

* Windows/Linux server administration

* Network infrastructure (firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs)

* Endpoint security, IDS/IPS, SIEM tools

* Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with security practices

* Strong knowledge of *cybersecurity standards, encryption, access controls, and incident response*.

* Ability to manage IT policies, compliance audits, and regulatory requirements.


*Preferred Certifications (Security & Infra)*

* *Networking:* CCNA / CCNP

* *Security:* CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP (preferred)

* *Systems:* MCSA/MCSE, RHCE

* *Cloud Security:* AWS Security Specialty / Azure Security Engineer
