Core responsibilities

  • Identify new opportunities: Conduct market research to find new markets, products, and customers.
  • Build relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients, partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop strategies: Create and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Generate leads: Prospect for new clients through various channels like cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Manage sales cycle: Guide leads through the sales process, from initial contact and qualification to closing deals.
  • Create proposals: Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
  • Negotiate contracts: Finalize agreements and contracts with new and existing clients.
  • Collaborate internally: Work with marketing, technical, and other teams to develop effective sales strategies and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Track performance: Monitor and analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and report on progress to management.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinking: Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective business strategies.
  • Client management: Proven experience in building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Sales skills: A track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Organizational skills: Strong time management and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Technical proficiency: Experience using CRM software to track sales activities and customer interactions.
