About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Sales Manager to drive our retail motor and health insurance business across North India regions. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in General Insurance (GI), specifically within agency/direct channels and branch banking environments. This role involves managing a team and will be responsible for generating business and revenue from allocated NBFC/MFI branches
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve business targets in the retail motor and health insurance segment.
Develop and execute strategies to generate business from the allocated branches of NBFCs and MFIs.
Build and maintain strong relationships with agency and direct channels to ensure continuous business flow.
Identify and implement cross-selling opportunities for retail insurance products.
Drive cross-sell initiatives within the assigned NBFC/MFI branches to maximize product penetration.
Travel extensively across North India (UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, NCR) to support business objectives and client needs.
Ensure consistent revenue growth and exceed set targets for the region.
Monitor performance metrics and provide guidance and support to the team to meet sales objectives.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies
Your key qualifications & competencies:
Proven experience in General Insurance, particularly in agency/direct sales and branch banking.
Experience managing a team and handling business operations in multiple regions.
Strong business acumen and ability to drive revenue generation.
Experience in cross-selling retail insurance products.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to travel extensively across North India.
Ability to work independently and lead a team towards achieving targets
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹1,200, ₹1,800,000.00 per year
