Job Description:

  1. Sales & Business Development

  2. Achieve and exceed regional sales targets for animal health products (pharma medicines).

  3. Drive business growth through strategic planning, new market development, and customer retention initiatives.
  4. Develop and implement region-specific sales strategies aligned with national business goals.

  5. Team Leadership & Management

  6. Lead, coach, and mentor 1st Line Business Managers to ensure effective team management.

  7. Oversee and guide 20 Sales Executives in achieving their sales objectives.
  8. Monitor performance through KPIs, field visits, and regular reviews.
  9. Foster a culture of accountability, performance excellence, and continuous learning.

  10. Customer Relationship Management

  11. Build and maintain strong relationships with veterinarians, distributors, and key opinion leaders in the region.

  12. Ensure high-quality customer engagement through regular field visits, product demonstrations, and value-based discussions.

  13. Market Intelligence & Strategy

  14. Monitor competitive activities, market trends, and customer needs in Uttar Pradesh & Uttarakhand.

  15. Provide inputs to marketing and product teams for campaign planning, product positioning, and pricing strategies.

  16. Compliance & Reporting

  17. Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory guidelines.

  18. Submit timely reports on sales performance, market developments, and resource utilization.

Required candidate profile:

  1. Graduate in Veterinary Science / Pharmacy / Life Sciences; MBA in Marketing preferred with 20+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with at least 10 years in Animal Health.

  2. The Regional Business Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, market penetration, and brand visibility across Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand in the Animal Health segment.

  3. The role involves managing a large business volume, building strong customer relationships, and leading a high-performing sales team comprising 1st Line Business Managers and 20 Sales Executives
