Roles & Responsibilities :

About the Role

Associate will play a key role in securely operating and enhancing the central Managed File Transfer (MFT) platform used across the enterprise.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role that requires a strong foundation in Axway MFT technologies, a proactive mindset, and a drive to ensure secure, reliable, and compliant data transfers across global environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate, configure, and maintain the Axway MFT platform, including security policies and transfer configurations.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to file transfers, ensuring high availability, data integrity, and error-free operations.

Implement and manage security controls to meet compliance and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO

Continuously automate and optimize MFT processes and flows for better performance and operational efficiency.

Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure smooth end-to-end integration and delivery.

Document configurations, incidents, and process improvements as part of knowledge management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with Axway SecureTransport, Axway Gateway, and related MFT components.

Proficiency in configuring flows, partners, and security settings (certificates, keys, encryption standards).

Familiarity with network protocols (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS) and basic firewall and proxy configurations.

Understanding of IT security concepts, access control, and compliance frameworks.

Scripting skills (Shell, Python, or similar) for automation of operational tasks.

Good communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive attitude toward ownership and problem-solving.

Qualifications

Educational qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (required).

Master's degree in IT/Computer Applications or related specialization (preferred).

Relevant certifications in Axway MFT, ITIL, Security (CISSP, CISM), or Cloud platforms will be an added advantage.

Experience :

Minimum 5+ years of experience

Mandatory/requires Skills :

In-depth knowledge of Axway''s MFT platforms (e.g., SecureTransport, CFT and FlowManager).

Understanding of various transfer protocols like SFTP, PESIT, S3, and FTPS.

Familiarity with data security principles and encryption methods.

Ability to independently diagnose and resolve technical issues related to file transfers and the operation of the MFT Platform.

Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with users and other teams.

Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python)
