Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Media Support Specialist to join our media production team. This role is critical in supporting the day-to-day operations of the production workflow, including media asset management, equipment support, and technical troubleshooting. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of digital media systems, post-production processes, and the ability to ensure smooth technical operations throughout the production pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

Media Management:

  • Ingest, log, organize, and archive video, audio, and graphic assets.
  • Maintain digital asset management (DAM) systems to ensure files are correctly tagged, stored, and easily retrievable.
  • Monitor storage usage and manage media backup procedures.

Technical Support:

  • Provide first-level technical support for production and post-production teams.
  • Troubleshoot issues with editing software, media servers, file formats, and codecs.
  • Maintain and update software and hardware as needed (e.g., NLEs, media encoders, storage solutions).

Production Support:

  • Assist with setting up and maintaining production and post-production equipment.
  • Ensure all equipment (cameras, lights, microphones, etc.) is in working order and ready for shoots.
  • Support editors and producers with media delivery and formatting requirements.

Workflow Optimization:

  • Help develop and document standard operating procedures for file handling and media workflows.
  • Coordinate file transfers between teams and external vendors or clients.

Quality Control:

  • Review and verify media files for technical quality (e.g., resolution, audio levels, sync issues).
  • Ensure that deliverables meet required specifications and platform standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a media support, post-production assistant, or technical operations role.
  • Solid understanding of video production workflows and media formats.
  • Proficiency with editing and asset management software such as Adobe Creative Cloud, DaVinci Resolve, Avid Media Composer, or similar.
  • Familiarity with media storage systems, servers, and backup strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree or certification in Film/Media Production, IT, or related technical field.
  • Experience working in a studio or broadcast environment.
  • Knowledge of scripting or automation tools for workflow efficiencies.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹18, ₹25,000.00 per month
