Key Responsibilities
●Manage and execute background verification processes for new hires and ex-employees, including education, employment history, address, criminal record, and reference checks.
● Liaise with third-party verification agencies and internal departments to collect and validate required documents.
● Ensure timely initiation, tracking, and closure of all verification cases within defined TATs (Turn-Around Times).
● Review verification reports, highlight discrepancies, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for resolution.
● Maintain accurate and secure records of verification data in accordance with data privacy laws. ● Provide regular status updates and reports to HRBPs.
● Support audit requirements by ensuring process documentation and compliance.
● Handle escalation cases, such as adverse findings, with professionalism and confidentiality.
● Maintain and publish regular BGC dashboards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
● 3–5 years of experience in employee background verification, HR operations.
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external vendors.
● Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and HR databases.
● Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
● Experience working with background verification tools, vendors and portals
