Position Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Area Manager based out of Chennai to lead a team of Medical Representatives. The candidate should have proven expertise in the gynecology segment and the ability to drive business growth in the Chennai market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, guide, and motivate a team of Medical Representatives to achieve sales targets.
  • Plan and implement strategies to increase prescription generation in the gynecology segment.
  • Regularly monitor and analyze the performance of the team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key doctors, hospitals, and distributors.
  • Ensure timely reporting and updates to management (Head office in Kolkata).
  • Conduct joint field work with team members for effective coaching and market coverage.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience as an Area Manager / 1st Line Manager in the gynecology segment.
  • Strong track record in team handling and achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Based in Chennai with good knowledge of the local market.
  • Self-driven and capable of working independently
