We are looking for a skilled Sous Chef/Jr Sous Chef with 4-6 years of experience to join our team at DoubleTree by Hilton, located in the Western Section.
Roles and Responsibility
- Assist the Executive Chef in planning and preparing high-quality dishes.
- Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate food preparation activities.
- Maintain high standards of culinary excellence and presentation.
- Develop menus and recipes to enhance the dining experience.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Implement effective inventory management systems to minimize waste.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Jr Sous Chef in a reputable establishment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and quality control measures.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage kitchen staff.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
- Strong attention to detail to maintain high standards of culinary excellence.
