Job Purpose

This position is open with Bajaj Finance Ltd.

Duties and Responsibilities- Deliver on collection analytics as a practice and capability - work with large structured and transactional data to build a robust collection analytics framework across products and the collection life cycle, from current bucket to write-off stage.
- Develop well-defined strategies for collections of delinquent loans, including segmentation, prioritization, effective channel strategy, forecasting, simulations, and building strategies to improve business performance.
- Analyze historical data and provide a suitable framework to guide the collection team.
- Analyze data to identify emerging customer trends and strengthen relationships with existing analytics partners to leverage capabilities.
- Identify areas of weakness, recommend solutions, and support the collection team to achieve targets.
- Scan the environment and stay up to date on emerging trends globally on collection analytics, and build use cases.
- Analyze the current environment and collection trends, and provide improvement solutions.
- Collaborate with the collection team to understand requirements and provide solutions to their needs.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, business partners, IT partners, and senior management.
- Formulate strategies and plan deliverables to achieve operational goals for the function and the team.

Required Qualifications and Experience- EducationMBA in Finance or Statistics graduates preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in medium to large size Banks or NBFCs.
- Experience in analytics, statistics, or model building.
- Relevant, substantial experience in analytics using tools such as SAS, SQL, or R.
- Familiarity with both small and large ticket business support is an advantage.
- Strong presentation s.
- Knowledge of the high-ticket finance operating environment is an added advantage.
- Effective verbal and written communication s.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
