Core Responsibilities

  • Safe Operation: Operate a vehicle safely and legally, adhering to all traffic rules and regulations.
  • Transportation: Transport passengers or goods efficiently and punctually to their intended destinations.
  • Route Navigation: Use GPS, navigation software, and local knowledge to map and follow efficient and safe routes.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular vehicle inspections, ensure the vehicle is fueled, and perform basic maintenance to keep it in good working order.
  • Vehicle Cleanliness: Keep the vehicle's interior and exterior clean, tidy, and presentable.
  • Load/Unload Cargo: Assist with the loading and unloading of goods, packages, or luggage.
  • Customer Service: Interact with clients and passengers in a professional and friendly manner, assisting them as needed.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Valid Driver's License: Possess and maintain a valid driving license.
  • Knowledge of Traffic Laws: Understand and follow all state and national safety regulations and traffic laws.
  • Navigation Proficiency: Ability to use GPS, maps, and other navigational tools effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Clearly communicate with dispatchers, clients, and passengers.
  • Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills to meet schedules and deadlines.
  • Defensive Driving: Practice defensive driving techniques to ensure the safety of themselves and others.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to adapt to changing conditions, such as traffic congestion, and reroute when necessary.
