Customer Retention and Email Channel SpecialistJob description Position Overview: The Customer Retention and Email Channel Specialist will be responsible for creating B2B email marketing strategies and have a proven track record of driving new user acquisition, effective customer engagement, increased conversion, and improved revenue. The ideal candidate will have an excellent communication skill, and the ability to analyse and optimize campaigns for maximum results. Responsibilities: Develop and execute effective B2B email marketing strategies to generate leads, drive engagement, and revenue.
Collaborate with content, design, marketing, and product teams to develop engaging and revenue- driving communications with the target audience. Identify and build segmentations for effective ways to better target customers via personalization tactics. Conduct A/B testing to optimize email campaigns for open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
Monitor, analyse, and optimise campaign performance, providing regular reports and actionable insights. Maintain and update email lists to ensure accuracy and compliance with data protection regulations. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in email marketing.
Job Duties: Work with engineering, design, and content team to craft the emails and send personalized emails to customers and potential clients. Develop deep understanding of customers and build customer targeting, segmentation, and communication strategies to maximize the conversion rate, up sell, cross sell purchase rate. Build marketing automation and triggers to engage and convert prospects and customers across the customer journey.
Continuously conduct A/B tests and analyse results to track key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, response rates, and conversions. Develop insights to improve conversion rate, retention, and revenue. Develop insights and continuously improve email templates to improve conversion rate, retention, and revenue.
Ensure all email communications comply with relevant laws and regulations, including GDPR, CAN-SPAM, DKIM. Provide regular feedback and suggestions to improve overall marketing strategies. Skills Required: Minimum of 5 years of experience in cold email marketing or a related field.
Strong understanding of email marketing tools and software (e.g., Convertkit, Mailchimp, Salesforce Pardot, HubSpot, ). Advanced Excel, A/B testing, experiment design, HTML emails, campaign analysis. Experience in customer segmentation strategies and subscriber management across multiple channels, deliverability.
Strong knowledge of data protection regulations and best practices in email marketing. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. Advanced knowledge of Salesforce CRM, Pardot and other relevant CRM/Marketing automation software.
Strong understanding of platforms/tools / technologies like Wordpress, HTML, Google Analytics, Excel, PowerPoint, Etc. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
