Role Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and visionary Senior Sales Head/AVP of Sales to lead and scale our sales function. This is not just a revenue-driving role; it's a strategic leadership position responsible for building a structured, high-performance sales organization that aligns with our company's long-term goals.
The ideal candidate must be both a practitioner and a strategist—someone who can close high-value deals, mentor a team, implement scalable methodologies and systems, and improve our overall sales culture. You will lead the transformation of our sales department into a world-class function.
We are seeking a true leader—someone who will not wait for direction but will take ownership of the department's vision, execution, and evolution. The individual must demonstrate a proactive mindset, confidently advising and challenging senior management, taking initiative to define what needs to be done, and leading by example. We are not looking for someone to merely follow instructions—we expect someone to also show us the way forward. Leadership, thought leadership, and the ability to act as a department builder and authority figure are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution
· Develop and lead the execution of the company's overall sales strategy.
· Establish clear sales goals, forecasts, and performance benchmarks.
· Work with marketing and leadership to refine value propositions and go-to-market plans.
Team Leadership & Mentorship
· Build, scale, and mentor a high-performing sales team.
· Design and deliver structured training programs for new and existing sales staff.
· Implement a repeatable sales playbook and ensure consistent methodology across the team.
Sales Process, Tools & Systems
· Introduce and optimize CRM tools, sales automation platforms, and data-driven performance tracking.
· Collaborate with the AI/product team to co-develop custom internal tools.
· Define and institutionalize best practices in lead nurturing, pipeline management, and client follow-up.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
· Lead by example in high-stakes client conversations.
· Drive relationship management and client satisfaction post-conversion.
· Handle escalations and complex negotiations when necessary.
Departmental Transformation & Thought Leadership
· Identify structural weaknesses within the current sales organization.
· Design initiatives to improve onboarding, productivity, and culture.
· Elevate the team's use of psychological selling techniques and sales principles.
· Act as a guiding force in shaping the department's trajectory—not just executing plans but creating them.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
· 10+ years of progressive experience in international B2B sales environments, (ideally US/UK-based clients) with at least 3 years in a senior leadership capacity.
· Proven ability to build and scale sales teams in high-growth environments.
· Deep knowledge of structured sales methodologies (e.g., SPIN, Challenger, Sandler).
· Strong coaching and mentoring abilities; must be a teacher, not just a doer.
· Exceptional communication skills—verbal, written, and interpersonal.
· Familiarity with CRM systems, analytics tools, and sales enablement platforms.
· Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels.
· Leadership maturity: builds systems, teams, independently transform a sales department and can contribute strategically to C-level decision making
· Bonus: Familiarity with the psychology of persuasion and behavioral science in sales.

· A complete transformation of the department from a reactive, customer-service-oriented function into a high-performing, proactive, high-velocity sales engine. We are not aiming for incremental improvements—we are seeking a bold leap in capability, mindset, and results.
