Senior Associate/Manager – Partnerships

To drive the growth, sustainability, and strategic alignment of organizational partnerships and funding initiatives in line with Thuvakkam's Funding Code and Partnership Framework.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Strategic Leadership


• Develop and implement strategies for partnership growth, success, and retention.


• Ensure alignment with Thuvakkam's Funding Code and Partnership Framework.


• Lead business presentations and leadership communications with ethical standards.

Compliance and Regulatory Expertise


• Demonstrate expertise in Section 135, Schedule VII, and the latest CSR regulations and guidelines.


• Ensure preparedness and adherence to onboarding and donor compliance requirements.


• Negotiate and manage compliance clauses in MoUs and onboarding processes on behalf of the organization.


• Maintain strict data confidentiality in all partnership and funding operations.

Fundraising and Proposal Development


• Lead grant writing and proposal development for funding opportunities.


• Represent the organization in fundraising initiatives and strategy development.


• Collaborate with the President for retail fundraising and with the Executive Director on framework upgrades.


• Work closely with branding and marketing teams to enhance fundraising visibility and engagement.

Coordination and Communication


• Liaise with project and program teams to effectively communicate impact and outcomes.


• Coordinate with administrative and finance teams for operational and financial clarity.


• Foster cross-departmental collaboration to ensure seamless implementation of partnership strategies.

Qualification Required:

5+ years experience.

Preferred background – Under graduates/Postgraduates in Master of social work, Master of Business Administration, Public Administration, Development studies or other related fields.

Excellent organising, communication, budgetary skills. Proficient in excel and spreadsheets.

Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities on-spot

Including preparing fundraising.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills in a multicultural environment.

Strong problem- solving skills.

Excellent Organizational, planning and writing and oral presentation skills.

Strong ethics, reliability and trustworthiness.

Proactive and well organized

Work location:
Chennai, Hyderabad and New Delhi

Language:
English, Tamil, Telugu & Hindi is added advantage

Scope:
Full time

Remuneration:
4 LPA to 7 LPA (based on experience and candidate profile).
