Position: Purchase & Sales Executive – Sulphur Import

Location: Pune (On-site)

Company Overview:

We are engaged in the import and domestic sale of Sulphur, sourcing from international markets including Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Iran, Malaysia, and Russia. We are seeking an experienced professional to manage end-to-end purchase, import, and sales operations, ensuring compliance, quality, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage purchase and sales operations related to the import and domestic distribution of Sulphur.
  • Coordinate with international suppliers, logistics partners, and third-party inspection agencies (HGS) for timely and compliant operations.
  • Handle complete import documentation, including Letter of Credit (LC), Bill of Lading, Invoice, Packing List, and Certificate of Origin.
  • Ensure adherence to import regulations, customs procedures, and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Monitor shipment schedules, oversee tracking, and ensure quality and delivery timelines are met.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and customers.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers and clients to optimize cost and profitability.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify sourcing opportunities, pricing trends, and competitor activity.
  • Prepare and maintain MIS reports and documentation related to import, purchase, and sales transactions.
  • Work in coordination with finance, logistics, and compliance teams for seamless execution of trade operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.
  • 8–10 years of relevant experience in procurement, sales, or international trade, preferably in the chemical or raw materials industry.
  • Strong understanding of import-export documentation, international trade regulations, and customs compliance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/HRMS tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Fluency in English ; knowledge of foreign languages will be an added advantage.
  • Strong technical and computer skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
