We have an exciting opportunity with one of the **Leading Packaging & Container Manufacturing Company - Mumbai**

**Role: IMPORT PURCHASE EXECUTIVE**

**Experience: 2 to 4 years**

**Imp Note**:

- Need to work for Plant**

**Qualification**:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Supply Chain, International Business, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in import operations, preferably in a manufacturing or trading company.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Import Documentation & Compliance**
- Handle all import documentation, including, Bill of Entry, Bill of Lading, and Customs clearance paperwork.
- Ensure compliance with import regulations, customs duties, and trade policies.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and clearing agents.

**2. Shipment Coordination & Logistics**
- Track shipments from order placement to final delivery, ensuring timely clearance and transportation.
- Monitor HS codes, duty structures, and regulatory changes affecting imports.

**3. Cost & Vendor Management**
- Work with international suppliers to optimize sourcing and payment terms.
- Coordinate with finance for import payment processing and duty payments.

**4. Internal Coordination & Reporting**
- Work closely with procurement, finance, and warehouse teams for smooth import operations.
- Maintain records of import transactions

**Key Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, customs clearance, and duty structures.
- Experience in coordinating with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
- Proficiency in ERP/SAP systems and Excel for reporting.
- Good communication skills for supplier and internal team coordination.

**Backup Role: Capex & Spare Procurement Executive**

**Key Responsibilities (When Acting as Backup)**:

- Handle procurement of Capex (Capital Expenditures) and spare parts when the primary executive is unavailable.
- Issue purchase orders and negotiate with suppliers for cost-effective sourcing.
- Ensure timely delivery of critical spare parts to avoid production downtime.

**Key Skills for Backup Role**:

- Understanding of Capex & spare procurement processes.
- Ability to manage supplier negotiations and purchase order processing.
- Knowledge of ERP/SAP for procurement transactions.
