Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Executive with sound knowledge of procurement, vendor management, and import/export documentation. The ideal candidate will handle local and international purchases, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery of materials and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process — from inquiry to purchase order.
  • Identify and evaluate suppliers (domestic and international) for raw materials, components, and consumables.
  • Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts to ensure cost savings and quality compliance.
  • Coordinate import/export documentation, LC (Letter of Credit), Bill of Entry, customs clearance, and logistics follow-up.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and track their performance.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production schedules.
  • Maintain and update purchase records, reports, and pricing databases.
  • Coordinate with internal departments like Production, Stores, Accounts, and QA for smooth operations.
  • Monitor market trends and analyze material cost variations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Supply Chain / Commerce.

  • Experience: 3–4 years in a manufacturing industry (preferably Transformer or Electrical Equipment).

  • Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of import/export processes and documentation.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems / MS Excel for purchase tracking.
  • Familiar with customs procedures, freight forwarding, and vendor negotiations.
