Division/Department: Export - Import

Brief Overview

Planning and coordinating shipments, supervising delivery, managing customers and personnel. Ensuring that shipments comply with domestic laws as well as international export import, trade and financial Laws. Check the Customer satisfaction, Banking, GST, and Customs& DGFT Compliance and follow the Foreign Trade Policy guidelines. Control the Total Cost Out to maximise the saving. Take prompt decision and resolve the queries related to the work responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Negotiations with shipping lines / Freight Forwarders for export shipments.
  • Total cost out for International Freight, Ex-works Pickup, Domestic Transportation, Origin & Destination clearance, CFS facilities across India Pacific for Import consignment.
  • Development & Implementation of SOPs include Customs Clearance, Imports, Exports, Warehousing, and Transportation function.
  • Optimizing the Export Logistics Process.
  • Ensure effective Customer Relationship Management at all stages of customer engagement.
  • Procure Concessional Duty Benefits (EPCG / Advance License) while importing but procuring the needful license from licensing authority.
  • Development of Online end-to-end tracking of shipments through logistics partners.
  • Maximum gain and utilization of export incentive from Customs and DGFT as per the foreign trade norms.
  • Manage the Compliance of license utilization, obligation, closure and bank queries.
  • Sort the queries raised by Customs & Drug Authority for hassle free clearance of Export & Import shipments.
  • Obtain complete know how of the product or capital goods before importing to assess the duty and exemption benefit and fulfillment of documentary requirement for clearance.
  • Supervise, Monitor & Guide the functioning of Team members.
  • Monthly MIS Preparation for Import & Export shipments, EDPMS, DGFT, incentive etc.
  • Tracking & Monitoring of Day to day Execution of export and import shipment and clearances.
  • Clearance through SEZ zone.
